Marcus Smith Acupuncture strictly abides by the CDC and Florida Department of Health recommendations for the cleaning and sanitizing of private medical offices.
Effective June 1st, 2021, face coverings/masks will be optional when entering our office. Social distancing in the waiting area is encouraged. You may also request the staff to wear masks when in close proximity.
If you have a cough, sore throat, fever, or acute gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, please stay home until you have been asymptomatic and without fever over 100.4F for at least 7 days.
Stay home if a family or household member is sick with the above symptoms, since COVID-19 may take 2 weeks from exposure to manifesting symptoms.
If you have difficulty breathing or cannot keep yourself hydrated, seek immediate medical attention. You can speak to Broward County Health Department through their website or by calling 954-467-4700. If you are concerned that you have been exposed to COVID-19, please call 954-412-7300 (Florida Department of Health in Broward County) before traveling to any healthcare facility.
