Veteran's Services      

If you are a veteran you may be able to receive care from Marcus Smith Acupuncture at no expense to you.  The VA's Patient Centered Community Care Program (PC3), formerly The VA Choice Program, allows veterans to receive care from network providers in their local community rather than having to travel to the nearest VA center for care if it is agreed that it is in the veteran's best medical interest to do so.

You must first ask your VA physician for a specific referral to Marcus Smith Acupuncture.  Our NPI (National Provider Identifier) Number is 1982787743.  Your VA doctor will submit the request and when approved the VA Community Care office will call you to schedule your first appointment.

The VA covers all treatment fees.  There is no out-of-pocket expense for the veteran.

We have been in-network providers for this program since 2017 and are proud to be serving our veterans and to be able to give back in this way.  The patients we see through this program are typically those who are suffering with:

1. Chronic pain (back, neck and shoulder pain, joint pain, post-surgical pain)

2. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), hypertension, anxiety, insomnia and other stress-related issues

3. Neuropathy (pain/tingling/numbness in the hands and feet, diabetic/non-diabetic)

4. Headaches, trigeminal neuralgia, tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
